Terms of Service

1. Accepting these terms

By using "Skill ToBe," you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What does the site offer?

"Skill ToBe" is a multilingual, voice/visual avatar assistant that finds and directs you to the best resources in the world. The site does not host content on its own servers — it directs you to trustworthy, original sources.

3. Creating an account

• You must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for the security of your account (e.g., not sharing your password with anyone).
• You must be 18 or older to use this site. During sign-up, you will be asked to check a box declaring "I am 18 years of age or older"; this is a self-declaration.

4. Prohibited conduct

While using the site, you may not:

• Share illegal, obscene, violent, or harassing content
• Use the camera/microphone feature to record others without their consent
• Attempt to abuse the system (e.g., overloading it with automated bots)
• Use another user's account without authorization
• Use the Emergency feature for situations that are not real emergencies

Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended, with or without prior notice.

5. The avatar's approach to requests that conflict with universal values

When the avatar encounters a request that may conflict with universal human rights, ethical principles, or the law, it will inform you in an appropriate and respectful manner and may decline to fulfill that request (for example, by saying "I can't help with that").

If the same account repeats such a violation a second time, your account may be suspended or permanently closed without further warning. If you wish to appeal an account closure decision, you may email destek@skilltobe.net from the email address on your account; we will review your appeal and respond within 14 days.

6. Important notice about the information the avatar provides

The avatar does its best to be helpful, but:

• This is not medical advice. Health/first-aid information is general in nature; in a real medical emergency, always call your local emergency number.
• This is not legal advice.
• We do our best to ensure the accuracy of the information provided, but we cannot guarantee the complete accuracy of information sourced from third parties.

7. Free and Premium membership

• Free membership includes certain daily usage allowances.
• The Emergency feature is outside this limit — it is unlimited and always available for both Free and Premium members.
• Premium membership offers additional features and a broader usage allowance; current pricing is shown on the payment page and may change from time to time.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

8. Intellectual property

The design, logo, and software of the site belong to us. Rights to third-party content we direct you to belong to their respective owners.

9. About third-party content

The avatar may direct you to other websites, videos, or resources. We do not produce, host, or control this content — therefore we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or terms of service of the sites we direct you to. When you click a link, that site's own terms of service and privacy policy apply.

10. Payment and cancellation

• Premium membership fees are billed according to your chosen payment method (including app store billing).
• As this is a digital service, refunds are generally not provided once a paid period has begun; exceptions apply where required by applicable consumer protection law.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

11. Account suspension/termination

If we determine that you have violated these terms, we may suspend or close your account without prior notice — particularly in cases of fraud, abuse, or illegal activity. You may also close your account at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

We provide the site "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the site.

13. Right to modify the service

We may update, temporarily suspend, or discontinue the site, its features, or these terms from time to time. We will try to inform you of significant changes.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. In the event of a dispute, the courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey shall have jurisdiction.
